Rob Appell led an all-day workshop to teach his famous Color Strata quilt technique, using 2.5" jelly rolls to create custom gradients with an ombre effect with a lot of pop! He led participants through the color-layout and construction of their own panels, and provided several different examples of Color Strata quilt options we can create with our own strata.
Rob Appell (robappell.com/) joined us as our special guest at our February 5 meeting! Rob also led an all-day workshop teaching his Color Strata quilt pattern. Rob hosts the wildly popular YouTube show Making it Fun with Rob Appell by Michael Miller Fabrics, leading viewers on adventures in quilting, sewing, cooking, music, nature and more! You may also know Rob as the host of Man Sewing, with over 250 entertaining and educational episodes on YouTube. He's a creative force, full of boundless energy, enthusiasm for life, and love of quilting.
