Nova Montgomery, "A Century of Progress: the 1933 World Fair
In January, we welcome Nova Montgomery, who will take us back in time to the Chicago World's Fair of 1933 and its enormous quilt contest. Almost 25,000 people entered quilts in this contest! Find out why! And learn about some of the quilts made for the Fair and the people who made them.
Please Note: This month's meeting, via ZOOM ONLY, will start at 7 PM. While our in-person meetings start at 6:00 pm, our zoom meetings will go back to our 7:00 pm start time. This meeting will be broadcast over Zoom. Guests are welcome to join our virtual meetings from here, there, or anywhere!
