and Workshops The
Santa Monica Quilt Gprograms and workshops includes:

A
variety of nationally known and local quilt makers, teachers,
and authors.Please see the Calendar
page for upcoming programs.

Quilt
displays, slide shows and power point presentations by guest
speakers on a multitude of quilt topics.
|
|
Each
meeting we have
"show and tell" presented by our members.
|
|
Daylong
workshops (9:30 am - 3:30 pm), taught by our guest speakers,
are offered throughout the year. The workshops are open to guild
members at a cost of $35.00 for each workshop, and $40.00 on
a space-available basis for non members. Please see the Calendar
page for upcoming workshops.
Workshop News - There are still spaces available
in the August "Square in a Square Workshop" we will be doing
the "Feathered Star" pattern.

Social Hour 7:00 Meeting
The
Annual Summer Potluck Dinner
Time to eat!
Our
Summer Potluck brings you a special White Elephant Sale,
the Black and White and One Color Challenge Quilt, bonus
raffle items (10+), and a surprise or two.
All
you do is:
-
Bring
a dish to share: Appetizer, Salad, Main Dish, or Dessert
(enough for 8 servings) and
-
A
fat quarter in red, white or blue or any combination
thereof. Your fat quarter will be your admission ticket.
The fun and chatter are free.
-
Please
put your name on the bottom of your serving dish,
- Include
a serving spoon or fork or knife if necessary,
-
And
something new this time — Please write out on a small
card the name of your dish and the main ingredients.
-
Cutlery
and beverages will be provided, although you’re welcome
to bring your own china and silver if you’d like. Tablecloths
and napkins will adorn the tables as you arrive.
Dinner
starts at 7:00 pm. Come around 6:30 pm and you’ll have time
to socialize
